Learning colors through sorting
Sorting gives a color a purpose: an object belongs with other objects sharing that feature. Name the color as you move it.

Worked example
A red triangle and a red circle can share a basket even though their shapes differ. Compare color first, then try a shape rule.
Try it step by step
- Color Baskets
Sort each token into its matching color basket.
- Color Laboratory
Mix the paints in the recipe to create the target color.
- Wagon Train
Add the wagon that continues the pictured pattern.
A useful hint
Do not rely on color alone. PlayPeblo adds symbols so the matching rule remains visible when colors are hard to distinguish.
Simple activities, gentle encouragement, and room to explore at your own pace. Big buttons and simple controls on phones, tablets, and computers.
